Fabry genetic<\/span> support service<\/h1>\n

The Fabry Genetic Support Service (FGSS) is a dedicated genetic counselling service for patients with Fabry disease and their relatives.<\/p>\n

We are no longer accepting new clients into this service<\/strong>, please direct any enquiries to your local state genetics services or Fabry clinic. If you have a new diagnosis of Fabry disease or know of someone in your family who has this condition and want to understand your personal disease risk, please scroll down for information on how to access state-based genetic counselling services and for the locations and contact details for Fabry clinics within Australia. Each state has services that exist to provide you with access to a genetics team including a genetic counsellor to help you understand your diagnosis or whether you are at-risk of Fabry disease due to your family history, to give you information about the genetics and inheritance of the condition and put you in touch with support services and testing where needed.
